Mother's Day gift

I know Mother's Day was more than a week ago, but I just got back Erin's gift from the paint-your-own pottery place. The fervent pottery painter that I am, I should've known it would take a week to fire. Oops. I'll be sure to teach Jacob better.

I at least was able to take it home after it quickly dried to show Jacob's gift to Erin on Mother's Day. Then I took it back to get fired.

Jacob did the prints. The calligraphy was already done; we were just lucky enough to find one with "Jacob" written on it.




At first I painted Jacob's hands and placed them neatly on the tile. Then Jacob wanted to do it himself...



It was his gift to mama, after all. He did a great job!
